Just had my first snow removing experience this morning.
We had our first snow fall on December 1st (apparently a lot later than usual) but it was all flurry and it almost looked as if snow didn't want to stay on the ground.
But hello, I open the window this morning and all I saw was white, white, white!
So out I went with my boots and snow shovel. Snow was only about an inch deep so most houses seemed not bothered, but I had friends coming over so I made sure I removed snow all the way along the front entrance and drive way.
It was actually fun scraping fluffy snow but it did hit me an hour later, with my feet cold inside my boots, that there are going to be more days like this to come. Every year.
May be it's time to consider getting those Minnetonka sheepskins... Can't wait for the Christmas Holiday Sale!
A photo from a typical flurry day - the air is too frosty, Kanata is reluctant to leave the garage even after getting on his tricycle. He would stop right on the line dividing the garage and outdoors.
